Easter Sunrise Service Downsville COB joins with three other local churches for a community Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 on Easter Sunday Morning. Each of the four Pastors and choirs participate in an uplifting service that celebrates the Resurrection of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. Maundy Thursday Love Feast On the Thursday evening of Holy Week the congregation meets in a symbolic recreation of the final evening our Savior spent with His closest followers. Following the meal we participate in the Foot Washing ceremony in which we follow the example set that evening by the Christ. Worldwide Communion Sunday Fall Love Feast The congregation meets once again in the Fall to remember the final meal of our Savior and to reenact the foot washing as displayed by the Christ. Community Thanksgiving Service On the Wednesday evening of Thanksgiving week the local churches who worshiped together at the Easter Sunrise Service meet again to give thanks and worship the LORD. Christmas Eve Service (Dec 23rd)Downsville COB holds its Christmas Eve service on the 23rd so that families can spend Christmas Eve together in quiet contemplation of the gift sent to each of us by God, the Father.
